Sharon’s Blush- (Parker, Scott 2024) Lactiflora, Double- The outer guard petals are a very light blush pink to white with a flat, but slightly cupped form. Between the outer petals and the center petals, which are speckled with light pink dots, is a partial hidden collar of pointed white petaloides. Double type blooms are displayed on 32-34 inch stems. If side buds are not disbudded the stems would benefit from additional support since it has 3-4 side buds per stem. It blooms mid to late season. It is an excellent cut flower variety with a very strong pleasing fragrance. It has carpels, buy iy does not have any pollen or stamens so it should store very well in cold storage for the cut flower market. It received a Certificate of Merit at the 2024 APS Convention. The consensus of the attends of the 2024 APS Convention is that it would make the perfect brides bouquet.
